Welcome to our eQSL platform ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our").

Our Platform provides digital services for amateur radio operators, including the ability to upload and manage amateur-radio contact logs, record QSOs, match contacts between operators, exchange or generate electronic QSL ("eQSL") cards, maintain confirmation records, participate in awards or achievements, and use other amateur-radio-related features.

Our objective is to provide a useful, fair, reliable, and respectful environment for amateur radio operators around the world.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Platform operates independently and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected with any national amateur radio society, licensing authority, regulator, award organization, callsign database, QSL organization, or other third party.

References to third-party organizations, awards, callsigns, operating modes, countries, entities, software, or services are for identification and interoperability purposes only.

Questions concerning the Platform or these policies may be submitted through Contact Us.

By creating an account, accessing the Platform, uploading an amateur-radio log, submitting QSO information, generating or uploading an eQSL card, requesting a confirmation, participating in awards, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and Policies.

If you do not agree, you should not use the Platform.

Where required, we may ask users to expressly accept updated Terms before continuing to use certain features.

Users must be legally capable of accepting these Terms under the laws applicable to them.

Amateur-radio features may require a valid or previously valid amateur-radio callsign.

Users must not falsely claim ownership or control of another person's callsign.

Where a club, special-event station, contest station, expedition, or other shared callsign is involved, the person managing the account must have appropriate authority to manage records associated with that callsign.

We may request reasonable verification where callsign ownership or authorization is disputed.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts.

You must provide accurate information where information is required for account operation.

You must not: impersonate another operator; falsely claim another callsign; create accounts for fraudulent purposes; attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account; sell, transfer, or misuse accounts in violation of Platform rules; deliberately provide misleading verification information; or use another person's credentials without authorization.

Users are responsible for activity occurring through their accounts unless unauthorized access is promptly reported to us.

Suspected account compromise should be reported through Contact Us.

Users may upload amateur-radio logs, including files using formats such as ADIF or other supported formats.

Log information may include: callsign; contacted callsign; date and time; frequency; band; mode; signal reports; station information; grid locator; country or entity; award-related information; confirmation information; and other amateur-radio QSO fields.

Users retain ownership of their original log information to the extent that such information is capable of being owned.

Uploading a log does not transfer ownership of that log to the Platform.

Instead, the user grants the Platform a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, copy, normalize, process, index, compare, match, display, back up, and otherwise use the submitted information as reasonably necessary to operate the Service.

This permission includes processing information for QSO matching, eQSL generation, confirmation, awards, statistics, fraud prevention, security, account management, backups, and technical operation of the Platform.

We do not acquire ownership of an operator's log simply because it has been uploaded.

The Platform may automatically compare records submitted by different users to determine whether two records appear to describe the same amateur-radio contact.

A match generated by the Platform means that the relevant records satisfy the Platform's matching criteria.

A Platform match does not constitute a governmental, regulatory, or independent certification that the radio contact occurred.

Users remain responsible for the accuracy of their submitted records.

Matching criteria may be modified as the Service develops or to improve reliability, reduce false matches, prevent abuse, or support additional modes and operating practices.

The Platform may allow users to create, upload, send, receive, display, or store electronic QSL cards.

An eQSL is a digital representation or acknowledgment of an amateur-radio contact.

Users must not knowingly issue fraudulent eQSL confirmations for contacts that did not occur.

Users should ensure that the information contained on their cards is accurate.

The Platform may mark, reject, remove, invalidate, or investigate cards associated with suspected fraudulent or manipulated records.

Users retain their rights in original content they submit to the Platform.

This may include: QSL card artwork; photographs; station photographs; logos owned by the user; biographies; descriptions; uploaded images; custom designs; and other original material.

Uploading content does not transfer copyright ownership to us.

However, by uploading content, the user grants the Platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, encode, process, display, transmit, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, promote within the Platform, and improve the Service and its relevant features.

This license does not give us ownership of the user's content.

Subject to legal, security, backup, dispute, and fraud-prevention requirements, this license ends when the content is permanently deleted from the Service and associated backup retention periods have expired.

Users must only upload material that they own or are legally authorized to use.

Users must not upload copyrighted photographs, artwork, logos, illustrations, maps, card designs, or other protected material without appropriate authorization or another lawful basis.

The fact that an image is available on the internet does not automatically mean that it is free to use.

Each user is responsible for ensuring that content submitted through their account does not unlawfully infringe another person's intellectual-property rights.

We respect intellectual-property rights.

A copyright owner or authorized representative who believes that material available through the Platform infringes their rights may submit a complaint through Contact Us.

The complaint should identify: (1) the copyrighted work; (2) the allegedly infringing material; (3) where the material appears on the Platform; (4) sufficient information for us to understand the claim; (5) confirmation that the complainant is the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder; and (6) any other information reasonably necessary to investigate the complaint.

We may temporarily restrict or remove disputed content while investigating a complaint.

Submitting a knowingly false copyright complaint may have legal consequences.

Where appropriate, users may be allowed to respond to a complaint or demonstrate their authorization to use the material.

Repeated infringement may result in account restrictions or termination.

Except for user-owned content and third-party material, the Platform and its original software, interface, database structure, branding, graphics, documentation, algorithms, designs, and other original materials belong to the Platform operator or applicable licensors.

Users receive a limited right to use the Platform for its intended purposes.

Users must not, except where applicable law expressly permits: copy substantial portions of the Platform; reproduce our branding without permission; operate a misleading clone of the Service; circumvent technical restrictions; interfere with security systems; scrape the Platform in violation of applicable rules; use automated systems in a manner that materially harms the Service; or misrepresent another service as being operated or endorsed by us.

The Platform facilitates interactions between amateur radio operators.

We are generally not a party to relationships, communications, arrangements, promises, disagreements, exchanges, or transactions between users merely because the users met or interacted through the Platform.

A QSO, eQSL, confirmation, message, award claim, or other interaction does not create an employment, partnership, agency, joint venture, fiduciary, or contractual relationship between the Platform and the users involved.

Users remain responsible for their own conduct and communications.

The Platform does not guarantee another user's identity, honesty, accuracy, reliability, licensing status, operating activity, or intentions unless a specific Platform verification feature expressly states otherwise.

Users should attempt to resolve ordinary QSO disagreements respectfully.

Where appropriate, users may use Contact Us to report: suspected false confirmations; fraudulent logs; callsign impersonation; harassment; copyright infringement; account misuse; manipulation of awards; or other serious violations.

We may review available Platform records when investigating a complaint.

We are not obligated to adjudicate private disputes unrelated to the operation or integrity of the Service.

Users must use the Platform lawfully and respectfully.

The following are prohibited: fraudulent QSO records; intentionally fabricated contacts; callsign impersonation; deliberate manipulation of award systems; unauthorized account access; malware; attempts to compromise Platform security; automated attacks; abusive scraping; spam; harassment; threats; unlawful discrimination or targeted abuse; publication of another person's sensitive private information without authorization; copyright infringement; fraudulent copyright claims; intentionally misleading reports; use of the Service for unlawful activity; and deliberate interference with other users' access to the Service.

Violation may result in content removal, temporary restrictions, award invalidation, account suspension, or permanent termination.

The Platform may provide awards, certificates, rankings, statistics, achievements, or similar recognition based on information available within the Service.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, these are Platform-issued awards.

They should not be interpreted as awards issued or officially recognized by an external amateur-radio organization.

Eligibility rules may include confirmed contacts, bands, modes, entities, geographical areas, dates, or other criteria.

Award rules may be changed where necessary to correct errors, prevent abuse, improve fairness, or introduce new features.

Fraudulent or manipulated contacts may be excluded. Awards obtained through abuse may be revoked.

We make reasonable efforts to calculate statistics, matches, and awards correctly.

However, results may depend upon: information submitted by users; incomplete logs; inaccurate ADIF fields; software errors; callsign changes; entity definitions; matching tolerances; historical records; or other technical factors.

Accordingly, Platform statistics and awards should not automatically be treated as official regulatory records.

We respect the privacy of our users.

We aim to collect and process only information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

Account Information: Information necessary to establish and manage an account.

Amateur Radio Information: This may include callsign, station information, QSO logs, grids, countries/entities, modes, bands, frequencies, timestamps, confirmation records, and award information.

User Content: This may include QSL cards, images, station photographs, profile information, and other material voluntarily submitted by users.

Technical Information: For security and operation, we may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, security logs, authentication information, and diagnostic records.

Communications: If a user contacts us, we may retain information necessary to respond to the request and maintain appropriate records.

Information may be processed to: provide user accounts; import and manage logs; match QSOs; generate and display eQSL cards; calculate awards; maintain statistics; authenticate users; prevent fraud; detect abuse; protect Platform security; troubleshoot problems; respond to support requests; enforce these Terms; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Service.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis for processing, the appropriate basis may include performance of the service requested by the user, legitimate interests, consent, or compliance with legal obligations, depending on the particular processing activity and jurisdiction.

Certain amateur-radio information is inherently intended to be exchanged between operators or may already be publicly available through legitimate amateur-radio sources.

However, publicly available information is not automatically exempt from privacy requirements.

We will endeavor to process such information only for legitimate Platform purposes.

Users should understand that information included on publicly visible profiles, eQSL cards, rankings, awards, or similar features may be visible to other users or visitors depending on the relevant privacy settings.

We do not treat user personal information as a product to be sold.

Information may nevertheless be shared when reasonably necessary with service providers that support Platform operation, such as infrastructure, hosting, storage, security, authentication, analytics, or communications providers.

Such providers should receive only information reasonably necessary to perform their functions and should be subject to appropriate contractual or legal obligations where required.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary: to comply with applicable law; to respond to valid legal process; to protect users; to investigate fraud or security incidents; to enforce Platform rights; during an organizational restructuring, acquisition, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law; or with the user's direction or consent.

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including operation of the Platform, account management, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity, and legal compliance.

Different categories of information may have different retention periods.

Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from encrypted backups, security logs, or records that must temporarily be retained for legitimate legal or technical purposes.

Depending on applicable law and the user's location, users may have rights relating to their personal information, potentially including rights to: access information; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; restrict certain processing; object to certain processing; receive certain information in a portable format; withdraw consent where processing relies upon consent; and lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.

Requests may be submitted through Contact Us.

We may need to verify the identity of the requester before acting on a privacy request.

Certain information may be retained where required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, establishment or defense of legal claims, or compliance obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.

However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, authentication credentials, recovery methods, and devices.

Security vulnerabilities should be responsibly reported through Contact Us.

Users must not exploit a vulnerability beyond what is reasonably necessary to demonstrate its existence.

The Platform may use cookies, browser storage, session tokens, or similar technologies necessary for authentication, preferences, security, fraud prevention, and proper operation of the Service.

Where non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar technologies requiring consent under applicable law are introduced, appropriate information and consent mechanisms should be provided.

The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services.

Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the independent practices, content, security, availability, or policies of third-party services.

A link or technical integration does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

Users may request account deletion through available account controls or Contact Us.

Account deletion may result in deletion or anonymization of associated personal information, subject to applicable legal and operational retention requirements.

Deletion of one user's account does not necessarily require deletion of independently submitted QSO information belonging to another operator.

For example, if Operator A logs a contact with Operator B and Operator B later deletes their account, Operator A may still have an independent record of that radio contact.

We will consider privacy, data ownership, legitimate recordkeeping, and applicable legal requirements when processing deletion requests.

A radio contact naturally involves information concerning more than one station.

Each operator may independently maintain their own record of the contact.

No user receives ownership of another user's account merely because their callsign appears within another user's log.

Similarly, one user's deletion request does not automatically give that user authority to alter another operator's independently maintained log.

Where a genuine privacy, impersonation, safety, or legal concern exists, users should contact us for review.

A callsign displayed on the Platform does not by itself prove the current identity, licensing status, or authorization of the person controlling an account.

Where verification is provided, its scope will depend upon the verification method used.

Users should not rely on Platform profiles as substitutes for official licensing records where official verification is required.

We aim to provide a reliable Service, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

The Platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, technical failures, hosting problems, internet failures, security incidents, force majeure events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Features may be changed, introduced, suspended, or discontinued. Where practical, we will attempt to minimize disruption.

Although we may maintain backups, users should maintain their own copies of important amateur-radio logs.

The Platform should not be treated as the user's only permanent logbook or archival system.

Users are encouraged to periodically export or retain copies of important records.

We cannot guarantee that deleted, corrupted, lost, or damaged information can always be recovered.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by a user's failure to maintain reasonable independent backups.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that every QSO will match; every submitted record is accurate; every user is who they claim to be; every award calculation will always be error-free; the Platform will operate without interruption; all historical information is complete; or the Service will satisfy every external award organization's requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or similar losses arising from use of the Service where such liability may lawfully be limited.

This may include losses resulting from inaccurate user logs, incorrect confirmations, disputes between operators, lost awards, unavailable services, unauthorized user content, third-party services, or loss of information that users were reasonably expected to back up independently.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Users are responsible for their own unlawful conduct and content.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, a user may be responsible for losses, claims, or reasonable costs arising from their unlawful content, infringement of third-party rights, fraud, intentional abuse, or material violation of these Terms.

This provision does not impose liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable consumer or other mandatory law.

We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action.

Possible actions include: warnings; removal of content; correction or invalidation of matches; invalidation of awards; feature restrictions; temporary suspension; or permanent account termination.

Serious fraud, security abuse, impersonation, repeated copyright infringement, or deliberate manipulation may result in immediate action.

Where reasonably appropriate, users may request review of significant moderation actions through Contact Us.

An appeal should identify the account or affected material and explain why the decision should be reconsidered.

We may maintain a decision where we reasonably determine that it is necessary to protect the Platform, other users, legal rights, or system integrity.

Users may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious violations of these Terms, repeated violations, fraud, security threats, legal requirements, abuse of other users, copyright infringement, callsign impersonation, or deliberate manipulation of Platform systems.

Where appropriate and legally permissible, notice or an opportunity to remedy the violation may be provided.

The Platform will evolve. These Terms and Policies may therefore be updated to reflect new features, technical changes, legal requirements, security requirements, community needs, or changes to Platform operations.

The latest version should display an updated effective or revision date.

For significant changes, we may provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance where appropriate.

The governing law and dispute-resolution provisions applicable to the Platform should be determined according to the legal entity operating the Service and applicable mandatory consumer and data-protection laws.

Until the Platform operator's legal entity and jurisdiction are formally established, this section should not be interpreted as overriding any mandatory rights users have under applicable law.

Before commercial or large-scale public launch, this section should be completed following appropriate legal review.

If a provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not necessarily waive the right to enforce that provision later.

These Terms, together with any additional policies or feature-specific rules expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing use of the Platform. Mandatory rights provided by applicable law remain unaffected.

The Platform is built around the tradition of amateur radio: experimentation, communication, learning, technical curiosity, international friendship, and good operating practice.

Users are therefore expected to: Log honestly. Confirm honestly. Respect other operators. Respect intellectual property. Protect personal information. Do not manipulate awards. Do not impersonate another callsign. Do not abuse the Platform.

The value of an eQSL system ultimately depends upon the integrity of the operators using it.

Questions, privacy requests, copyright complaints, account issues, security reports, appeals, or other concerns may be submitted through Contact Us.

No public support email address is required for this policy until the Platform chooses to provide one.

Until a dedicated support channel is published, please use the contact form on this page or reach out through the Platform when available.

These policies are intended to establish clear rules concerning ownership, privacy, QSO information, copyright, user relationships, Platform responsibility, and acceptable use.

They are general policy language and are not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal advice.

Before the Platform is operated commercially or at significant scale, the operator should have the final Terms, Privacy Policy, governing-law clause, data-retention practices, cookie implementation, and copyright procedure reviewed for the jurisdiction in which the Platform operator is legally established.
